Good news for Pakistan!
The Adaptation Fund‘s Board has approved the SAFER Pakistan proposal for USD 10 million grant to reduce the vulnerability and increase the adaptive capacity of the population residing in Pakistan’s Indus Basin to the impacts of climate change. In close collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, the project will be implemented by ICIMOD, UNICEF and UN Women in the selected districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. The dev~consult played a pivotal role in developing the concept note and then the full proposal for the project.
