Graduated from King’s College London, she is licensed to appear in High Courts since 1998 and have been engaged in both contentious and non‐contentious legal practice in Constitution, corporate laws, corporate governance, civil and commercial laws, regulatory laws, taxation laws, environmental laws, not for profit laws and public interest litigation. She is Partner in the Progressive Advocates & Legal Consultants.
She has also been involved in development of SMEs, improvement in the lower judiciary, development in legal and regulatory framework for not for profit, bringing in policy change in regulatory frame work of taxation regime, improving urban development, governance and corruption issues in water and sanitation, and acquisition laws. She has been teaching at the Institute of Legal Studies, LUMS, CSA and Punjab Judicial Academy. She has assisted number of legal commissions and has been appointed amicus curiae by the High Courts many times. She has worked extensively as a consultant with ADB, WB, UNEP, SME Business Support Fund, Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and IUCN.
