I am a practicing chartered accountant by profession and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan having over 35 years experience as an auditor, accountant, financial and management consultant. I have worked on a number of social and development sector projects of the Government of Pakistan sponsored by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and the British Council directly as staff consultant and/or through national and international consultants as financial management specialist, public finance specialist, audit specialist (local consultant), financial analyst and project economist (staff consultant).
I have worked as Team Leader on a multi million dollars Financial Accounting and Information System consultancy assignment of Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority, sponsored by Consortium of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.I have also worked on a number of USAID sponsored assignments involving development of Policies and Procedures (PnPs) manuals and Pre-Award Assessment of host country contracting and fixed amount reimbursement arrangement capabilities; host country financial management, accountability and procurement systems assessment.
