Based in Nepal, he gained progressive experience in environment and development programme management in South Asia for last 15 years. Currently, he is Country Coordinator for Climate and Development Knowledge Network in Nepal.
He is an experienced evaluator and project manager in natural resources management, biodiversity management and adaptation to climate change. He specialises in evaluation cycle management (design, planning, implementation, supervision and use), M&E framework, baseline, M&E plans, logframe, theory of change/result based management, impact and performance evaluation and sampling, and is an expert in use of qualitative and quantitative research techniques (use of logistic regression and descriptive statistics), and capacity building of individual and organisations. He specialises in climate change risk management and identification of adaptation strategies/options, sustainable agriculture, participatory biodiversity conservation, landscape management, and environmental and climate change impact assessment. He has authored more than a dozen articles. He has the capability to work in challenging environments.
