With a master’s degree in Economics and having more than 27 years of experience in the development sector and with the international and national consultants at management positions, Ashraf’s main areas of expertise are urban development, irrigation, dams roads and water supply. He has worked on various projects funded by the World Bank, ADB, IUCN, UN agencies, and the government line departments. His focus has been on preparing feasibility studies, compiling and analysing socio-economic data, report writing, financial and economic analysis, crop budget, cropping patterns, cost-benefit analysis, and calculating economic and financial internal rate of return. He has vast experience of working across Pakistan, especially in Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
