Dr. Muhammad Hayat

Dr Hayat is a senior technocrat, career strategist, manager and development planner with over 40 years of experience in implementation of agro-based rural development project/programmes, conservation, management and development of natural resources, fisheries, aquaculture, environmental management and rural development. He is Ph.D from US, and has served as Pakistan’s Fisheries Development Commissioner and CEO of Fisheries Development Board.

His areas of expertise include aquaculture, livestock, NRM, environment, rural development, resource mobilisation, quality control, capacity building of communities and infrastructure improvement. He has worked with FAO, IFAD, JICA, NACA, UNDP and USAID.
