Mahe Nau Haider

Having extensive work experience of ≈18 years in the areas of monitoring and evaluation, institutional/project assessments, community participation, operational research and human resource management, Mahe Nau has professional interest is in the areas of gender, local governance and human rights issues, community participation and environmental issues including community based disaster risk management and resilience. Ms Haider has worked in all major cities of Pakistan, and in several rural districts. She has experience in conducting project/programme and institutional reviews, assessments, social research and surveys as well as proposal and report writing and handling media and public affairs. Her consulting experience includes working with national and multinational businesses in Pakistan and several NGOs and donor-assisted projects. She has worked with ActionAid, ADB, CIDA, IFAD, ILO-IPEC, IOM, LEAD Pakistan, Oxfam, Save the Children (UK), SDC, UNDP, UNIFEM, UNICEF, WB and WOMANKIND Worldwide. She has to her credit numerous publications. She has designed human resource policies for private sector clients, undertaken recruitment for senior level positions, developed and implemented marketing strategies for international companies and conducted focus groups and surveys for the private sector as well as development agencies. Before joining EDC, she worked with a number of private sector organisations, in marketing research, consulting and business development services.
