Ahmed Saeed Shaikh

In the last 20 years, he has worked with national and international organisations on assignments related to monitoring and evaluation, TA and grants management, civil society strengthening, gender/development and strategic planning processes, education sector reforms, and climate change.

He has served at senior positions at the Management Systems International, USAID funded Trust for Voluntary Organisation, CIDA supported Aga Khan Development Network, DFID supported Technical Assistance Management Agency, USAID funded Educational Sector Reform Assistance, and DFID for its ‘Support to the Earthquake Programme’. He has also conducted a training programme through the University of Reading – UK, on Statistical Analysis, Social Surveys, Data Management, and Technical Report Writing. He has exposure to and worked in Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Japan, Costa Rica, Zimbabwe Canada.

He holds a master’s degrees in Social Development, Environment and Planning from AIT, School of Environment, Resources & Development (Thailand) and Carleton University (Canada). He is also a LEAD Fellow.
